Mead Valley, CA (September 11, 2023) – 3 year-old Odalys Navarro was tragically killed on Thursday, August 31st, in a hit-and-run in Mead Valley. The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Steele Peak Drive and Palm Street.
Odalys Navarro and her mother Rubi were cycling on a dirt path exiting a park. A 17 year-old driving a dirt bike struck the two of them. Both Rubi and Odalys were injured by the biker. The teenage driver fled the scene.

Odalys sadly succumbed to her injuries in the hospital on Thursday, September 7th.
Police are investigating the death of Odalys Navarro, and have apprehended the teen responsible for the incident.
