Oakland, CA (August 3, 2023) The Oakland Police Department announced this morning that a vehicle rammed into a 7-ll. 6 people then ran into the store through the hole left from the collision, raided the convenience store and took off in other vehicles.

Around 4:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, the driver of one vehicle rammed into the 7-ll window and door near the 300 block of 23rd Avenue. The Oakland Police Department said that 6 individuals raided the store, taking different items, before running to two other vehicles. They got in the vehicles with the stolen items and sped away from the scene. The vehicle used to ram the store was left sitting inside the 7-11.
It hasn’t been said what items were taken or now much the items cost. The Oakland Police Department is investigating the incident and searching for the 6 people involved. It doesn’t appear that anyone was injured in this collision.
