Glenn County, CA (August 30, 2023) A collision occurred in Glenn County on Tuesday afternoon when a semi-truck rear-ended a pickup on Interstate 5. The California Highway Patrol said that collision occurred near County Road 28 in the Grapit area around 1:30 p.m.

For reasons unknown, the driver of the semi-truck rear-ended the back of a Subaru pickup, causing major damage to the pickup. At least one person reported minor injuries after the collision.
The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, as well as paramedics, arrived at the scene after receiving the call. They found the pickup in the center divide of Interstate 5, upon arrival at the scene. A tow truck was called to remove the pickup.
The cause of this collision is still under investigation.
