Los Osos, CA (November 23, 2023) A bicyclist was struck and injured on Wednesday, November 22nd, in Los Osos, the California Highway Patrol said. The collision occurred at the intersection of Del Norte Street and Monarch Lane.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found a male bicyclist on the ground, injured. Paramedics loaded him into an ambulance and transported him to Sierra Vista Medical Center to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist remained at the scene following the collision and was arrested under suspicion of DUI, according to the California Highway Patrol-San Luis Obispo Area. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured in this collision at the intersection of Del Norte Street and Monarch Lane on Wednesday in Los Osos.
