Los Angeles, CA (November 5, 2024) A tragic tanker truck collision in Los Angeles claimed the life of 19-year-old Nivardo Martinez Alarcon on Saturday, November 2nd. The fatal accident occurred on the 110 Freeway and involved multiple vehicles, officers reported. A tanker truck was heading north on the freeway just before 11:00 p.m. when it collided with a silver Toyota Camry, a black Honda Accord, and a Toyota Highlander SUV. Bakersfield, C (November 5, 2024) 72-year-old Donald Jay Gillam was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Bakersfield. The accident occurred on Sierra Highway, not far from Cerro Gordo Street, according to reports. The vehicle fled the scene, leaving Gillam behind. Gillam was walking along northbound Sierra Highway on August 22nd, when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene, but Gillam had succumbed to his injuries. Los Angeles, CA (November 5, 2024) The community of Los Angeles was saddened as news spread of a boat overturning in the ocean, off of Redondo Beach, on Sunday afternoon, November 3rd. The accident claimed the life of 56-year-old Fredrico Salguero and left five others clinging to the boat. A cellphone call was received by dispatcers just after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, reporting the accident. The boat was found overturned about a mile from the Los Angeles County Beach shore.
