Irwindale Police Officers were called at 7:10 p.m. to Morada Street and Arrow Highway. A 2014 Honda Civic was turning left from Morada Street onto Arrow Highway. Bakersfield, CA (August 18, 2023) A 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle near Liberty High School in Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. The accident happened at approximately 3:57 p.m. on Thursday, August 17th. The teen was crossing an intersection even though the “Do Not Walk” sign was flashing.
