Escondido, CA (August 28, 2023) A motorcycle rider died on Sunday afternoon following a police pursuit that ended in a collision in Escondido. The California Highway Patrol said it all started around noon when officers tried to pull over a motorcyclist for speeding. The motorcycle rider didn’t stop, but instead led officers on a high speed chase. Oxnard, CA (August 27, 2023) A teenager was booked into the county’s juvenile hall facility on Friday night following a police pursuit and crash, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Officials. It all started around 10:00 p.m, Sheriff’s Captain Greg Gibson said, in the Port Hueneme area. Officers tried to pull over a pickup but the driver refused to stop, leading police officers on a pursuit toward the Oxnard plain, according to Gibson.
