Pacoima, CA (October 27, 2023) A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Pacoima on the morning of Friday, October 27th. It occurred at Bradley Avenue and Louvre Street around 5:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The collision occurred at the intersection of Louvre Street and Bradley Avenue. The collision took place in a construction zone around 2:00 a.m., near Meridian Road, just west of Chico. The section of highway was under one-way control due to construction. Lompoc, CA (October 27, 2023) A 23-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Joseph Cruz, was killed in a Highway 1 collision on Wednesday, October 25th, according the California Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m., just south of Lompoc. Cruz was riding a 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle south on Highway 1, just south of Highway 246, when he drifted into oncoming traffic.
