Redding, CA (November 15, 2023) A Redding Police officer sustained injuries on Wednesday morning during a pursuit, when the suspect rammed their vehicle into a police cruiser. Two suspects were arrested following the pursuit and collision, according to the Redding Police Department. It all started around 5:00 a.m. when SHASCOM dispatch received a call from someone who had just witnessed his truck being stolen. Solano County, CA (November 15, 2023) Injuries were reported on Wednesday morning following a collision that involved a big rig on Interstate 80 in Solano County. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened at approximately 4:00 a.m. The collision took place on eastbound Interstate 80 and California Highway Patrol officers had to close the No. 4 lane of the interstate, near Alamo Drive, following the crash. Dallas, TX (November 15, 2023) A drunk driver ended the lives of two people over the weekend in Dallas, according to authorities. 21-year-old Lester Matute-Irquea and 36-year-old Jesus Garcia Perez both lost their lives that morning. Joel Rosales-Perez, 23, admitted to driving while drunk; a decision that would change lives. The fatal collision occurred near Military Parkway and North Jim Miller Road in east Dallas. The accident happened just after 7:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway, at Grand Avenue. Bakersfield, CA (November 15, 2023) A bicyclist’s life came to an end on Tuesday afternoon, following a collision with a vehicle in Bakersfield. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the accident occurred in the 3300 block of Wible Road right around 3:00 p.m. Officers received the call about a bicycle versus sedan collision and were at the scene within minutes.
