Escondido, CA (November 29, 2023) 19-year-old Wesley Blue Breidenthal, from Valley Center, tragically lost his life on Friday, November 24th, in Escondido. According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred just after 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lawrence Welk Drive and Champagne Boulevard. Breidenthal’s young life was taken in a 2-vehicle collision. He was riding a Yamaha motorcycle, heading north, on Chamagne Boulevard when a white Lexus SUV turned right in front of Breidenthal. San Diego, CA (November 29, 2023) 42-year-old Stephen Debow of Del Mar was struck and killed by a vehicle on Utah Street in San Diego, authorities said. The accident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Utah Street, just south of Polk Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department. Stephen Debow was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle, officers said. The driver continued driving away, leaving the scene as well as leaving Debow injured. Woodland Hills, CA (November 29, 2023) Arturo Leon Dominguez, 49, was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday, November 27th. The California Highway Patrol said the fatal accident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills. Reports indicate that Dominguez was crossing the freeway on eastbound Ventura (101), just west of De Soto Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle. Los Angeles, CA (November 29, 2023) A mother and daughter both lost their lives in a fatal collision in South Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day. 26-year-old Alma Aragon and her 8-year-old daughter, Alexa Antonio Aragon, both lost their lives while waiting for a bus. Alma and her daughter Alexa were at a bus stop in South Los Angeles, waiting for a bus on Thanksgiving Day, when they were struck and killed by a vehicle. Redding, CA (November 28, 2023) A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with an SUV on Monday, November 27th. Authorities said the accident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on East Cypress Avenue. Initial reports indicate that the motorcyclist was heading west on East Cypress Avenue, just west of Alfred Way. At the same time, a woman was driving a Honda Pilot and pulled out of a shopping center parking lot, causing the motorcycle to crash into the Honda. The accident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. in the intersection of San Bernardino Avenue and Juniper Avenue. Orick, CA (November 28, 2023) Five people sustained injuries in a collision on Highway 101 just north of the town of Orick on Monday, November 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities are referring to this accident as a “serious head-on collision.” The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene on Highway 101 and found a semi truck and a passenger vehicle that had obviously collided.
