Malibu, CA (December 28, 2023) 32-year-old Jose Alfonso De Lira Piedra from Burbank, was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Pacific Coast Highway. Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the accident occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the 33400 block of Pacific Coast Highway. De Lira Piedra was riding his motorcycle south on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu at the time of the accident. San Luis Obispo, CA (December 29, 2023) At least one person was injured in a crash on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on December 26th. Wrong-way driver, Ryan Johnson, 47, was arrested following the crash that involved 3 vehicles. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. not far from Broad Street. Desert Hot Springs, CA (December 28, 2023) Martin Morales, 80, from Santa Ana, was fatally injured in a 2-vehicle crash that left 4 other people injured as well. The California Highway Patrol said that the accident occurred on 29 Palms Highway 62 in Desert Hot Springs, on Christmas Day. It happened just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of 29 Palms Highway 62 and Pierson Boulevard. In total, 5 people were injured, including Morales. Knoxville, TN (December 28, 2023) 37-year-old Erwin Lanza was arrested following a collision on Interstate 40, near Turkey Creek in Knox County, Tennessee. Lanza, a Gatlinburg resident, faces several charges following this collision. Jimmy Davis, an off-duty Loudon County Sheriff, was following a pickup truck after he watched it hit several other vehicles. The truck eventually slammed into a concrete barrier. Davis called 911 around 2:30 p.m., records indicate. Carson County, TX (December 28, 2023) 29-year-old semi-truck driver Abdi Faisal from Georgia, was killed in a collision involving two semi-trucks in Carson County, near Groom, authorities said. This fatal collision occurred on Interstate 40, the Department of Public Service said. One of the two semi-trucks was driving west on Interstate 40 and came upon another semi that was stopped on the shoulder of the interstate. Los Angeles, CA (December 27, 2023) 21-year-old Evelyn Ortega Solis was killed in a 7-vehicle Collision on Tuesday, December 26th, authorities said. The Accident occurred just after midnight near E. Olympic Boulevard and S. Vancouver Avenue. San Carlos, CA (December 25, 2023) It was just before 7:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve when 66-year-old Hok Gwan Jong and another driver struck a pedestrian in San Carlos. The tragic accident occurred on El Camino Real. The first driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, but the 2nd driver fled the scene, officials said. El Paso, TX (December 24, 2023) 65-year-old, Laura Lynch, co-founder of the Dixie Chicks, was killed in a car accident on Saturday, December 23rd, near El Paso, Texas. The fatal collision occurred on US Highway 62 just outside of the town of El Paseo, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Donley County, TX (December 21, 2023) A crash in Donley County took 60-year-old Yolanda Castillo’s life on Sunday, December 17th, officials said. 77-year-old Alicia Salinas Flores also lost her life in this fatal accident.
