Clear Lake, CA (January 4, 2024) Two women lost their lives on State Route 20 in Clear Lake on December 26th. Kimberly Renee Mitchell, 28, from Redwood Valley and Lisa Lopez, 46, from Lakeport, were identified yesterday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The deadly crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m., west of Bachelor Valley Road. Lopez was driving west on Highway 20 in a Nissan Cube when, for reasons still unknown, she crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic. Los Angeles, CA (January 3, 2024) A deadly crash in Los Angeles has now claimed 3/4 of a family, according to City News Service. 49-year-old Jose Manuel Pascagaza, along with his 5-year-old daughter, Mia Pascagaza both died at the scene. 26-year-old Luisa Arenas sustained critical injuries in the collision and was rushed to a local hospital, where she passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd. Their 1-year-old daughter is the only surviving member of the family. She is currently in the hospital fighting for her life, according to authorities. Turlock, CA (January 2, 2024) Turlock high school basketball coach, John Williams, was killed in a 3-car collision that left 7 other people injured, according to the Turlock Police Department, The crash occurred at the intersection of Kilroy Avenue and Christofferson Parkway, authorities said. CBS News reported that 48-year-old Williams was driving to a basketball game with his son at the time of the accident. Eight people were involved in this accident and all 8, including Williams, were sent to local hospitals for treatment. Kern County, CA (January 2, 2024) 23-year-old Taylor Camille Romine, a Huntington Beach resident, was killed in a car accident along with 3 other people, according to the California Highway Patrol. Rami Abdulrazak, age 27, from Yorba Linda, 61-year-old Gregg Ray Sauer, of Lancaster, and Ronald Eric Dene, 56, a Los Angeles resident, were also killed. Clovis, TX (December 20, 2023) A two-vehicle crash in Clovis took 83-year-old Billie Brazell’s life, according to authorities. Clovis Fire responded to the accident at the intersection of Mitchell Street and 21st Street around 2:20 p.m. on Christmas Day. Initial investigation revealed that Brazell was heading west on 21st Street in a Toyota Corolla. Needles, CA (December 29, 2023) 61-year-old Anthony Miller, of Desert Hot Springs, was killed in a 2-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Needles. The accident occurred on US Route 95 in San Bernardino County. The fatal crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. the California Highway Patrol said. Three other people were injured in this accident that occurred on U.S. Highway 67 between County Road 1234 and County Road 1120, according to Texas State Troopers.
