The Nevada State police were called to the fatal collision at approximately 2:15 a.m. Chapel’s BMW was hit on Interstate 15 in Las Vegas by Christopher Lee Walker who was driving under the influence. Richmond, CA (January 18, 2024) A collision that can only be described as gruesome occurred in Richmond and claimed two young lives. 18-year-old Rosa Herrera, a Richmond resident, and 21-year-old Elijah Thomasson, of Berkeley, were both killed in this horrific crash. Oakland, CA (January 18, 2024) Kim Barranco of Oakland was killed in a hit-and-run on San Pablo Avenue, according to the Oakland Police Department. The 59-year-old was affectionately called “Ladybug” by her family and friends, her mother told CBS News. She was tragically killed on January 9th, right around 1:00 p.m., as she left Serenity House, as she had done so many times before, after volunteering. Authorities reported that the fatal accident took place at the intersection of East Mission Road and Mulberry Drive just after 4:30 a.m. San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. The collision happened at the intersection of Oxnard Street and Clybourn Avenue around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16th. Twentynine Palms, CA (January 16, 2024) Just after 8:40 p.m. on Friday, January 5th, dispatchers responded to a pedestrian hit-and-run that left Twentynine Palms resident, Christopher Plummer, dead. The 55-year-old pedestrian was walking in the 75000 block of Amboy Road when he was hit. San Bernardino County Officials said the driver fled the scene after hitting Plummer. Initial investigation revealed that Plummer had been walking west on Amboy Road when a vehicle hit him. The vehicle didn’t stop, it didn’t even slow down.
