Sadly, a woman was killed in a collision with a semi-truck in the area of McCombs Way and Scofield Avenue. This deadly accident left another person with serious injuries, according to deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Department. Irvine, CA (February 1, 2024) Tragedy struck the city of Irvine on Thursday, February 1st, when a motorcycle accident claimed the life of 23-year-old Jotham Daniel Gant. Another person, also on the motorcycle, was left with life-threatening injuries following this awful accident. The deadly collision took place on Shady Canyon, not far from Quail Hill Parkway. Gant was riding the motorcycle with the other person when they lost control and crashed into a roundabout, authorities said. Huntington Park, CA (February 1, 2024) – Today, somberness sweeps the city of Huntington Park as a suspected hit-and-run collision claims the life of 68-year-old Maria Castellanos. At approximately 2:08 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers rushed to the intersection of East Florence Avenue and Pacific Boulevard in response to a distressing call. Riverside, CA (February 1, 2024) A pedestrian’s life was taken suddenly on the Riverside (91) Freeway, reminding us all of the fragility of life. The pedestrian, identified as 45-year-old Patrick Glant, was walking along the west side of the freeway when they were struck and killed by a big rig, authorities said. This devastating accident occurred just after midnight on February 1st, 2024, at La Sierra Avenue. Phelan, CA (January 31, 2024) Sadness has covered the community of Phelan following the death of 13-year-old Gulliana Puentes and 1-year-old Analia Puentes. The two girls were tragically killed in a car accident on Friday, January 26th, officials said.
