Officers at the scene said that eleven people were involved in this deadly crash and six of them were seriously injured. 32-year-old Francisco Velasco-Marcos sustained fatal injuries in the collision, authorities said. Initial investigations determined that a white Dodge Charger and a yellow Chevrolet Camaro were speeding down W. Vanowent Street around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. Four people were injured in this awful crash, two of whom sustained critical injuries. It was just after 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23rd, as vehicles drove along the 700 block of East Florence Avenue. A 24-year-old man on a motorcycle was seriously injured following a collision with a vehicle on Skyline Drive, authorities said. Bakersfield, CA (February 23, 2024) Sadness and shock fell over Bakersfield following a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead on Thursday night. The man was walking along Columbus Street just before 9:30 p.m., when he was struck, officers said. The driver then fled the scene, leaving the pedestrian alone with life-threatening injuries. San Jose, CA (February 23, 2024) 89-year-old Victor Siqueiros was hit by a vehicle on February 10th and remained in the hospital for nearly two weeks, fighting for his life. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital on Tuesday, February 20th. On February 10th, Siqueiros was crossing the road within a designated crosswalk on Story Road. Huntington Beach, CA (February 22, 2024) 67-year-old Johnny Lee Davis lost his life on Wednesday night while trying to cross a street in Huntington Beach.
