The accident occurred near the intersection of Benson Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Upland, according to officers. The pedestrian, identified only as a female, was crossing the street at the intersection when a black Honda approached. The driver of the vehicle was intoxicated and ran right into the pedestrian. Hollywood, CA (March 16, 2024) Tragedy struck north Hollywood early this morning when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Tujunga Avenue and Sherman Way. Sadly, one person didn’t survive the accident and another was seriously injured, according to officers. 25-year-old Emily Gonzales, a resident of Sun Valley, was fatally injured in the crash. It was the middle of the night in Hollywood as a blue car and a black pickup truck approached the intersection. Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA (March 16, 2024) A hit-and-run accident in Koreatown left a 62-year-old man injured and left the community shocked. The accident took place just after 6:00 a.m on February 20th, according to authorities, at the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard. The man was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when a gray SUV approached the intersection. Cabazon, CA (March 16, 2024) 32-year-old Joseph Rios lost his life on Wednesday night, March 13th, when the vehicle he was in collided with a big rig and a tree. Rios was the passenger in a Hyundai Sonata when the accident occurred around 6:36 p.m. on Interstate 10. The news of the Menifee resident’s death spread quickly through the town of Cabazon. Van Nuys, CA (March 15, 2024) Sadness covered Van Nuys late Friday morning when a motorcycle collided with a Metro G Line bus Hazeltine Avenue. The collision claimed the life of the 34-year-old motorcycle driver, Richard Leos. A 12-year-old girl, who was a passenger, sustained serious injuries in the crash. The fatal accident occurred around 11:00 a.m. on March 15th, near Bessemer Street. Davis, CA (March 15, 2024) Two California Highway Patrol officers were sitting in a patrol car on the side of Interstate 80 when a vehicle hit them, head-on. Investigators used dash cam surveillance and witness accounts to determine that the CHP vehicle was targeted and deliberately hit. Malibu, CA (March 15, 2024) The Pacific Coast Highway was the backdrop for a deadly collision that claimed one woman’s life and left two others injured. It was about 9:30 p.m. in Malibu when a car went off the PCH and crashed into the beach parking lot, officers said.
