The accident happened at approximately 9:42 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue J-8, officers said. A Mitsubishi Outlander was headed south 20th Street when she ran a red light. Miramar, CA (March 18, 2024) Sadness clouded the community of Mirimar on Saturday as news spread of a fatal accident that claimed the lives of two people on Interstate 15. The California Highway Patrol reported that they arrested two drivers on suspicion of DUI following the three-vehicle crash. A Toyota 4-Runner, driven by a San Diego man, was heading north on Interstate 15 when it was rear-ended by a Honda Civic. A Chevrolet Colorado then slammed into the back of the Honda, officers said. San Diego, CA (March 18, 2024) An accident in the University neighborhood of San Diego left a 19-year-old motorcyclist with major, but non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday, March 16th. The crash occurred when the motorcycle collided with a car, according to officers. It was just before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday as a 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 32-year-old man, pulled onto Regents Road. As he pulled onto the road, a 19-year-old on a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading down Regents. San Diego, CA (March 18, 2024) Tragedy struck on Interstate 5 in San Diego on Monday morning when one person was killed in a collision on the freeway transition road to the Cabrillo (163) Freeway. It was still dark outside as traffic headed up and down Interstate 5 in San Diego. At approximately 5:20 a.m., a crash on the interstate occurred, claiming one person’s life. Montecito, CA (March 18, 2024) It was the middle of the night in Montecito when two vehicles collided, head-on, on Highway 101. Three people were left with injuries following this crash. It happened near the Hot Springs Road off-ramp in the southbound lanes of Highway 101, according to officers. At approximately 2:45 a.m., a tan Chevy Suburban and a red Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck crashed into each other on Highway 101. Woodland, CA (March 18, 2024) A heart-broken community has come together following the death of 2-year-old Ailahni Sanchez Martinez on Saturday, March 16th. The toddler was struck and killed by a pickup in the parking lot of the 76 Gas Station on West Street in Woodland.
