The California Highway Patrol received the call at approximately 4:12 p.m. and headed to the scene on I-215 at Highway 74. Fresno, CA (April 8, 2024) 38-year-old Bryant Fields was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Fresno on Thursday, April 4th. It all happened right around midnight on Chestnut Avenue, according to authorities. The driver who hit Fields fled the scene following the collision. It was approximately 12:45 a.m. on Monday morning, April 8th, when the pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
