Los Angeles, CA (September 11, 2024) A major collision occurred on the Harbor 110 Freeway in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 11th. The accident involved at least four vehicles and left two people with serious injuries, reports indicated. It happened just after 3:30 a.m., not far from the West Imperial Highway off-ramp.

Many people would consider 3:30 a.m. to be the middle of the night. Even so, traffic continued as motorists headed to destinations in the dark. A white Volkswagen Passat collided with another vehicle, for reasons that remain unknown. A white Nissan Versa was right behind the two vehicles that collided and ended up running over debris and a tire. They stopped and called 911, according to reports. As the three vehicles sat on the roadway with damage, a FedEx box truck was approaching them. The driver had no time to react and crashed into one of the disabled vehicles.

Sirens illuminated the early morning darkness and sirens broke through as first responders hurried to the scene. Paramedics found two people with serious injuries and rushed them both to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.
