San Diego, CA (August 26, 2024) A tragic motorcycle vs. SUV accident left a man fatally injured and his passenger with serious wounds.
The crash was reported at about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, in the 4100 block of Camino Del Rio North. The motorcylist, a 59-year-old man, was heading eastbound with his 55-year-old passenger when an SUV tried to make a U-turn in front of them. This put the car directly in the motorcycle’s path, and the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger suffered life-threatening injuries including a fractured pelvis, a fractured leg and a collapsed lung.
