San Pedro, CA (August 5, 2023) A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in San Pedro on Saturday evening. Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said the collision happened around 5:49 p.m. in the 900 block of South Western Avenue.

The motorcyclist, 32-year-old Andrew Predis, was riding near Deane Dana Friendship Park and Nature Center when he and a vehicle collided. Upon arrival, authorities found Predis and pronounced him dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported and the cause of this collision is still unknown. An investigation is ongoing.
